Dr. Freddy Y C Boey is Senior Vice President (Graduate Education and Research Translation) National University of Singapore (NUS) and previously Deputy President and Provost of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He has founded several companies with his many patents to commercialise his cardiovascular, ocular and surgical implants. He served as Director on the boards of the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore and the DSO National Laboratories, and is now a Board member of Health Science Authority Singapore and GovTech. He is a founding Fellow of the Singapore Academy of Engineers and on the Board of several nationally funded researchcentres. He was conferred the prestigious Imperial College London Fellow in the Faculty of Medicine in 2012, for his exceptional achievements at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, a joint medical school between Imperial College and Nanyang Technological University (NTU). He was also conferred an honorary doctorate by Loughborough University and the Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award by Monash University in 2011. In 2013, he was awarded an honorary professorship from Nanjing University of Technology. He was awarded Singapore’s highest scientific award, the President’s Science and Technology Medal 2014, for his distinguished contributions to Singapore’s science and engineering landscape. His experience will help Cennerv to develop new delivery forms for their drug programs.

Dr. Mitsuaki Goto is Chief Executive Officer, Celagix Research Ltd., and Deputy Director of Foundation for Advancement of International Science, Biomaterials Center for Regenerative Medical Engineering. From 2010 to 2016, he was a Visiting Professor at the Molecular Engineering Institute of Kinki University in Fukuoka. He has more than 25 years of experience in biological polymer sciences and molecular recognition for cell function. His wide professional network in Japan enables Geneva Pharma to access companies and regulatory authorities.

Dr. Subbu Venkatraman is Chair of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Deputy Director (Graduate Research) at the Nanyang Institute of Technology in Health and Medicine (NITHM) and Director of the Ocular Therapeutic Engineering Centre (OTEC). He is interested in designing and modifying polymers for biomedical applications. In this work, they are closely associated with local hospitals and researchers in Singapore, including the National Heart Centre, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and the National Cancer Centre. He obtained a PhD in Polymer Chemistry from Carnegie-Mellon University and spent 15 years in biomedical R&D in the USA, working with various applications of polymeric biomaterials bringing transdermal drug delivery forms into first-in-man studies in the clinics. His strong background will assist Cennerv to develop novel drug formulations.
